このパネルは多くのカーボンファイバーパーツと違って、レジンインフュージョン技法を使ってエポキシ樹脂と純カーボン繊維で出来ています。（ガラスマット、ポリエステル等は無し）

レジンインフュージョン（VARTM）というのは繊維を型に入れ、型をバキュームバッグに囲まれて完全に真空状態にし、大気圧で樹脂を注入するCFRP製作方法です。この方法で製作すると、良いコストパフォーマンスでドライカーボンに近い樹脂と繊維の比率が得られ、標準のCFRPより構造的に強い部品を作ることが出来ます。
