瀬戸窯業高校卒業後、父加藤英一の元で修行。
日展、現代工芸展、朝日陶芸展滋賀県知事賞・最優秀賞、中日国際陶芸展オリエンタル中村賞など入選、受賞。
中部読売美術展読売美術賞、瀬戸陶芸展市議長賞など受賞多数。日本新工芸会連盟会員。 瀬戸市永久保存。 大丸ほか個展開催。瀬戸市泉町　湯之根窯。
