　加藤委さんが1992年制作した作品群Freeze Flame　15点？は、1993年東京の個展で一括して発表されました。その時の作品は全て京都書院発行の「陶」に掲載されています。この出品作品はその中の1点で、記念すべき出世作の一つです。
　この展覧会で、彼の青白磁のオブジェの評価が定まり、彼は人気作家となり、それからの大活躍はご承知の通りです。
　大切に仕舞っていましたから、人の目に触れたことはありません。作品も桐箱も制作時のままです。委さんらしい、勢いのある美しさです。
